Mythic Quest is centered on the creative director at a video game development studio.

The show follows a team of video game developers as they navigate the challenges of running a popular video game.

I just finished Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet, created by It’s Always Sunny’s Rob McElhenney, Megan Ganz, and David Hornsby and I've got to hand it to Apple TV+ because, once again, they've made an incredibly compelling series!

And I freakin' loved Episode 5 (A Dark Quiet Death) which was a one-off story featuring Jake Johnson & Cristin Milioti

as gaming nerd couple who create the gritty horror game they’ve always wanted to see. The 'flashback' story follows the couple's relationship for a decade as the balance between their art and commerce breaks down.

The episode doesn't even include any of the principle Mythic Quest cast... well, at least until Rob McElhenney shows up in the end.

Seriously more people should be talking about this series, which seems like it's already been 'green lit' for a second season big_smile

It's a funny show, I've watched 1x1 and 1x2 so far. Not an awesome show, but good.

Keep watching it wasn't until Ep 3 or 4 that I was really into it and then 5 comes around and I was like WHA-?!

I don't know about you but, unless I'm totally turned off by a show, I give a new series a 4 Episode Test. If by the 4th, if I'm not into it I usually drop it.

Though I do admit I've watched some series well after it has failed that test... miserably *cough* RESISTANCE *cough* wink

Yesss the fifth episode was breathtaking. Holy sh I did not see that tonal shift coming. Such a great show.

It was probably the most divergent episode of all TV shows ever... at least I don't recall another episode that had as little to do with the main cast as this one. smile

Thank you for the reminder, the quarantine special was incredible! Everyone involved with this show is so bloody good.
