Enterprise was a dumpster fire!  I'd rather watch Discovery, Strange New Worlds, or the Original Star Trek, but everything outside TNG, DS9, Voyager, and Lower Decks, have been so unnecessary as the popular opinion of the core audience has wanted a post Dominion war tie in storyline since the end of DS9.  Perhaps the producers finally caught wind of this reality and, better late than never, decided to randomly insert the story into season 3 of Picard, which is why it feels so off to the first two seasons and yet so so good, for all the fans. lolz.

I'd say Enterprise is the weakest of the lot.  If you're not a fan of Star Trek then why bother with Picard and then go on about about much you dislike it?

I already said that it was season 3 that went bad with Picard. Had it kept to the spirit of season 1 and 2 then fine. Well we disagree about "Enterprise" that was the best of the lot - you do not see trekkies doing enterprise do you? that must mean some thing good.

it seems that Picard DID pander to the fans rather than pursue its original title, it would have been more honest to call the show The Last Generation as in the title of the eps 10.

I did enjoy this last season and look forward to possibly new adventures of 7 of Nine as the captain of USS Enterprise NCC-1701-G.

Season 2: 65% - Deep dive into Picard's childhood and life, and it was Q heavy, full of time travel.  Just not Trek.
Season 3: 84% - The most epic fan service and largest shark jump in the history of the medium!   Because clearly they'd run out of ideas, and it's the last hurrah anyway, so might as well pander, and I got the sense the actors knew full well they were pandering and totally in on the joke.  "Swords are more fun", he says, Bahaha. So good.

it seems the idea of a "Picard" show turned out to be a damp squib, but not damp enough to end it at season 1.( I see from that link an average score of just 57%)  Maybe they had to make a season 3 as the actors were contracted to do so, or pressure from Stewart? But unlike you I deplore the "pandering". pandering to fans the way they seem to have done is pathetic. And as for ideas they seem to have the idea at the end of  season 2 with the good borg. I would like to have been a fly on the wall when they made the decision for season 3

So that is now 2 dud trek shows - this one and that other one with the old fashioned guy with the 1950's hair style. I think maybe time to stop milking the Trek idea.
