Very rarely I finish a show I completely don't like, if I'm still watching there's usually something in particular that keeps me watching, even if it's at the bottom of the list.  'Hate viewing' is liking some tiny aspect of the show but hating the rest of it and complaining about everything which sometimes turns into 'Ironic Viewing' or 'Guilty Pleasure Viewing'.   This would be a good discussion topic.

I watched season 1 of Legion and liked the creative sets, atmosphere, cinematography, the psychological thriller bent, and Jemaine, but it went too horror for me and just felt like unhealthy viewing, so I have no desire to watch more.

Haha... I value my time too much for 'Hate Viewing' and 'Ironic Viewing', but I can understand 'Guilty Pleasure Viewing'.

True, Legion went dark at times, but then it felt cathartic to come out at the other side of it.

It's very rare that I drop a show once I've invested a fair bit of time in it.  I think I always hope that I will suddenly start to like it.  I did that with Legion, watched the whole first season and just thought no, I won't bother with the next.  I thought it tried to be far too clever, kind of like what Hannibal was like - which I also dropped.

I'm a bit behind and took a break after season 2. A bit too much drama for my taste. I finally started to watch season 3 this week. Damn, the first 16 minutes of 3x1! A piece of art!

Yeah it did come together real well towards the end, superb from beginning to end. 5 stars in my book! The second season can't get here soon enough for me, and I'm also looking forward to finally seeing Amahl Farouk, who willl be played by Saïd Taghmaoui. FX describes Farouk as "a villain with a thousand faces…" They also confirmed that season two will premiere sometime in early 2018; this time with a 10-episode order. As for David's biological father, here's an interesting take from the showrunners on Den of Geek...
