well you see. every human being is different. at least most of us. what i think is crap, some others think it's the best thing ever invented after digital watches.
i personally have never liked any character in this show and i have no idea why i bothered watching 3 seasons of it.

I thought the troy and abed rap was pretty good... but you people gotta remember... it's a XMAS episode. Chuck with abed woulda been AWESOME!!! His voice is so dreamy ;-)

Oh, and I watched Chuck while having a terrible hangover at a friends place, and I fell asleep before Abed and Shirley had they're appearances. When I got home I first watched Community, and then finished the Chuck episode.... dude, was I wonderfully surprised!

This is indeed the best comedy airing atm... the only comedy ever that has the chance to stand up to this, is Arrested Development.... and I might be inclined to say that Community might have even passed that one, making it THE best comedy show I've ever watched...

Latest episode of chuck had a bit of a community crossover. The episode itself was rubbish, but that one moment made me grin .

As a total antifan of Glee I loved this episode to death. I'm also pleased to notice that the Glee fan(s) also thought the episode funny, which means they weren't trashing the shit out of it just for the sake of it. Parodying does not equal bashing, you can still be respectful to your source even if it's a parody.

As for Godzi not liking this, I noticed on some other thread that you didn't know who the Muppets are as you didn't get to see many american shows growing up. Was wondering if the references to other shows in Community are lost on you because of that (lets face it this show has shit loads of references)? It might be also because of the simple fact that you just don't like it period.

This is my absolute favourite comedy at the moment but I can also understand the low ratings. The references can be very subtle or obscure (my dinner with andre was one that was completely lost on me, never heard of that movie before) thus making the episode look like a bunch of nonsense. I'm just hoping that the core fanbase is enough to save this show, I cannot see it getting any ratings gains without completely revamping the content.
