I disabled what I could, but didn't have any luck. I'm trying this on my work computer, which has Claude enabled, and I asked Claude to figure out which extension is giving me the issue. It's response:

Based on what I found, this doesn't actually look like an extension problem. Here's what the network log shows:

The missing icons on each line are streaming-service logos being loaded from images.justwatch.com (e.g. https://images.justwatch.com/icon/116305230/s100). Every single one of those requests came back with an HTTP 503 Service Unavailable status — a real response from JustWatch's own image server, not a request that was silently dropped.

If a browser extension (like an ad-blocker or privacy extension) were blocking these, the requests would typically fail before ever reaching the server — showing up as blocked/cancelled with no status code, not a 503. A 503 means the request went out and JustWatch's server responded that it's currently unable to serve the image (could be an outage, rate-limiting of hotlinked requests from next-episode.net, or a temporary issue on their end).

I wasn't able to open chrome://extensions directly (that's a restricted internal browser page I can't navigate to), so I can't give you a definitive extension-by-extension list. But given the 503 responses, I'd guess the real cause is on JustWatch's side rather than something blocking in your browser. If you want to rule out an extension anyway, you could try loading the page in an Incognito window with extensions disabled and see if the icons still fail — if they do, that confirms it's the server, not an extension.

So I tried the incognito mode and had the same issue. I will try this on my personal computer later today and see if it's an issue on every computer I try, and will report back.

Please check your browser extensions / addons, one of them must be messing up/blocking the images coming from justwatch.com

Easiest would be to simple disable all of them temporarily to confirm it's one of them, then do it one by one.

When I went to my Episodes page, the streaming availability images are all broken (except for Fubo). I took a screenshot, but am a bit hopeless at knowing how I could attach that here.

Every user can try Premium for free for a whole month as it is, but I hear you - the system you're proposing kinda makes sense, and it would probably work well (not for increasing Premium membership, but increasing contributions) but I don't really have the time to set it up and maintain it ...

I understand why you push paid membership.
If I was still working, I'd be a paid member. The last 15 years of fixed income from disability has essentially depleted my savings. I appreciate the free sections, thank you.

Have you considered offering unpaid member incentives to earn paid member access?
I'm thinking a "contributions of time" equaling $ accumulation type thing or something similar.
This 'savings account' of worth might be tracked by the member on their profile page.
With "tier" levels needed for paid status.
Perhaps a 'program' rules page with a list of 'creditable contributions' which are tracked on individual profiles.
It would tell prospective candidates not only the rules of the program but give them a selection of activities they can choose to work towards their goal. Perhaps crediting confirmations by private message(PM) or a dedicated forum showing progressions. All approved by admin staff to prevent confusion.
Example: Just a random figure
Rule: Spelling and grammar checking
Qualification: 1 month=100 approved corrections
Reward: $0.10 per approved correction

You could set the earned amount at the full membership price (not discounted).
You could unlock partial paid extras at different participation levels.
Allow the participant to choose which feature to work towards unlocking.
Scale the unlocks by value groups.

Anyway, you may be too busy or not equipped to maintain it but I believe a progressive incentive membership plan would increase paid memberships...especially if the incentives reset annually or semi-annually.
This way, every visitor with a profile can sample paid features by contributing.
