I would have the same problem. Besides I'm too lazy and I prefer boards where there's an icon next to the nickname informing about the user's gender.

And it's nothing shameful to watch shows targeted mostly for women. I've seen a lot of them back when I had more free time, including OTH, Gilmore Girls and The OC.

Wait a minute, kaibren is a man or a woman? His (her) nickname is a little confusing.

As for the poll I must say I'm surpsied that SG is occupying third place (second if you count only shows). Guess Stargate brand didn't lose on popularity since Atlantis was cancelled.

wow Vampire diaries is also pretty high, even more than modern family.
do really so much people watch this show?

well i do:D and i watch because i like Damon character, he's just so funny and i don't understand why can't this character be the leading roll and the good guy.

but still i don't think it's very good show. maybe we have a lot of female users who watch things like that?

Slow pace is IMHO one of the main reasons why Jericho was cancelled. They clearly tried to add more action in season 2 (and succeeded) but it was already too late for the show.

Because they're TV shows, not big budget movies. Some ideas just won't work with a plan of having ~20 episodes, each costing 2-3 million dollars at best.

to be brutally honest I can understand your criticism of FlashForward... but like with Jericho - which moved A HELL OF A LOT slower - it is the background story that keeps me attached to it... Sure all those "Flashbacks of the FlashForwards" get annoying very quick... but let's face it... your typical US TV consumer needs that in order to be able to keep up... this may also apply to a lot of countries and their respective TV consumers of course, including Germany...

Why is it that I see so much potential in Shows that just goes by unused? Jericho for Example had a GREAT story... yet they managed to f*ck it up... Dollhouse: Great Idea for a Show... f*cked up... I sometimes wish Joss or any other TV writer or producer would ask the fanbase or the audience for hints or something or just browse some forums for ideas on how they could continue... but that will remain a dream I'm afraid...

I totally agree...

And I gotta add that "Day Break" was never meant to go longer than its 13 Episode run as it just filled a 13 week "LOST" break... At least that's the way I remember it...

Besides... If they had actually decided on a 2nd Season, it would've gotten "Prison Break"ish... And we know how that ended...

Day Break was one of the best shows I've seen and it didn't get repetitive even near the end.

To say I'm suprised and dismayed at how far down the poll my personal choices are would be something of an understatement.
1. Defying Gravity - not on list
2. The Good Wife - great legal drama
3. The Forgotten - great new take on cold cases
4. Accidentally On Purpose - very funny show with a gorgeous lead

Non of the others have fullfilled their promise:
Flashforward - needs to move along a hell of a lot faster
SG Universe - boring
NCIS LA - very little cast chemistry
The Vampire Diaries - getting better but still 90210 with fangs
and it's still too soon to pronounce on V.
