What he said ..but just to add to that. Wouldn't series finale as a term become confusing in the UK since they go by series not seasons?

since when did episode-of-the-week shows need to have closure..? you know earl will never finish the list... the nature of humanity dictates that as one thing is crossed off, another is added... i stopped watching earl mid season 3, but did happen to catch this episode, not knowing at the time it was even a season finale, let alone a series finale... in hindsight, i think it is a fitting wrap up... some people have to accept that the chips are eternally stacked against them, and no matter what you do there will always be someone there to kick you in the junk when you least need it...

"My name is Earl" is showing up as cancelled for me. Please tell me it isn't so! They can't just end it with the latest episode: "Dodge's dad", there's no closure!
