If I had to compare it to something similiar (besides the movie obv.) it would be Marvels: The Punisher Season 2 which has a similar story at it's core.

Could've done with a little bit more action scenes.

The team-dynamic also wasn't my favorite - would've prefered more a one-many-army kinda thing.

I loved the orig movie with Denzel.  Please tell me this TV show isn't "re-imagined for a modern audience" because I'm really looking forward to it.

Man on Fire tells the story of John Creasy, a broken ex-mercenary on a mission to avenge the death of his only friend, while protecting his fallen comrade's daughter from the forces that destroyed her family.
