SEASON 2 INCOMING!!
Scrubs got renewed last week for a new season! Coming maybe fall 2026 or spring 2027. And with likely more Carla and Cox and possibly more episodes!!

word should be out soon on season 2 either way, at least they left it in a good place if there is no s02

it was nice to see janitor and jorden cox ( she also plays the same type of character in shrinking)
in the last episode. (christina miller must of had a plastic surgery damage back in the day sadly(rumor was it was a botax failure and it was written into the show).

sadly lots of people chase "beauty" who already are beautiful..

this was a decent episode but really just a rehash of stuff done before.....
but its for new eyes and not mine... so whatever.
it was mostly on par with the good stuff they have done before. 
and i expect that will continue are they plunder history for for a story and jokes.

i mean when you really think about it, they could have redone the old series
almost word for word with new actors and a few updates and been good to go,

so i dont mind if they throw 20 old stories in a mix master, take what falls out and run with it.
it a lot better then trying to rewrite the universe with crazy new ideas.

the show seems quite popular placing in the top 5 every week
and holding popularity over all for longer then just the week each show premiered.
which is a good sign the show might have holding power...

fun fact.
the original shows scared heart was filmed at a hospital in LA
the new show is filmed on a set in vancouver bc canada

unlike billion dollar corporate media moguls....  i never search the past for something to resurrect to the present.. its now or never... LOL

(honestly there is very little comady in the original series that could be redone today. nothing that drcox ever says, very few JD daydreams, very few jd-turk daydreams, patient mishaps.forget MS cox, and the brain trust, or the janitor for that matter......)

Yes he had a son with Kim Briggs.

While the first episode was a great re-introduction, episodes 2+3 made me realize how much has changed.
It is still a nice-to-watch-show so far but some things are definitely missing.

- New characters are toned down way too much - and have barely any personality. No one comes close to supporting characters like The Janitor, Bob Kelso, Ted, Doug or Nurse Roberts.
- Carla seems to be only a recurring character, and you can feel it in every scene she is in
- Not enough out-of-the-hospital scenes. For me this show is supposed to give us a look into "where are these characters now"...but apart from that short scene from Turk/Carla kids there isn't much of that (yet).

On another note:
That scene in EP03 in the bathroom, as if Elliott doesn't have anyone else - what happened to their child?

it is going to very hard for scrubs to do its usual comady in this day of woke cancellation... unless we get a lot of ( was it car salemen???)            white turk,,,

E03 was not raising the series, but it did not sink it hard either.... and
