Tried to watch this so many times but didn't make it past episode three; can't say why though as it's something I would normally enjoy. This though just didn't grip me ....

I enjoyed this series, tho why is Kassius Nelson playing an American... Seriously, we can all hear her Little Britain trying to break free Showrunners, she's been paying a teen for like a decade now, least you can let her speak without trying to put on an accent!

Loved the cliffhanger ending too... I'm for more!

Yepp E01 is clearly the worst, nearly turned it off here as well, was bad!
... but from E02 it gets a little better but never good, but maybe the last 2 episodes, they are story-episodes and clearly a bit "better"

Fair enough. I've watched four episodes so far and I'm enjoying it.

How is it?

Definitely NOT good, but its ok, especially the 2nd half...
It starts episodical with a story-builtup, each episode is ok-good AND bad-realbad
... some scenes are ok, some even nearly good, many are mediocre, but some are really bad!
... evil witch? Well she had/was some of the highlights, no child/teen-theme here
... not a Comedy!
Acting: Lots of the acting is mediocre at best!
Writing: Some scene/character/behaviour/plot-writings are over-teeny-idiotic, some are ok-good and a little bit funny, most are rather weird (often the more-or-less "bad" kind)
Dialogues: Well some are ok-good, most feel artificial-teeny, some are just plain lazy-written and idiotic
Drama: hmm, could be really good, but is mostly shite
Technicals:
Intro - it is absurd shite!
Music - is mostly idiotic (somebody wanted to make the music comedy-spooky, but REALLY failed)
Camera/Cut/Edit - is "ok" most of the time
Special-effects/Post - is "simple" but mostly ok
Setup/Mise-en-Scene - some are ok, most are mediocre
Makeup - mostly ok

Conclusion:

The super-idiotic intro tells you rather nicely, what is wrong with this show!
Could have been MUCH MUCH better (if the writers would have taken it seriously)
==> Might be entertaining for some/many, but i don't think anyone gets "hooked"
If there is a season 2, and if it is "better" - then, this could be really nice!
