In its original format this would be a good this century Knight Rider/A-Team kind of show for kids. Just hit that hackerman with a bus and get a better one. Also this show would be way more interesting if the information gathering would be more realistic/challenging.

i agree with this 100%
just stick to a good story per episode
this show does not have the legs and depth for a overall grand evil master.
it does not need it.
the first few episodes were great, and it was losing itself by the end of season 1
good and simple can sell

Maybe this can act as a [RESET] for the show and get back to the original concept. I like the idea of being this guy good at finding things, people, and so on. It was original. I recommend it regardless of the negative comments seen in posts here.

I hope it doesn't fundamentally change after relocating to California.

It so happens that today there's a ruptured pipeline in LA flooding the streets and a chemical tank at risk of exploding about 30 miles south of LA, all of which may have been blown over before filming for the new season begins in June. I reckon they can avoid the trouble spots.

I like this show but its so obvious its filmed in canada while filling in for every state in US. the ep where he was supposed to be in Louisiana and the cop is wearing 5 layers outside seems a bit much. And there is only so much BC forest you can see that is doubling for any small mountain town US

I miss the season 1 premise: Find things for rewards.
It started to loose basic financial reasoning early if someone stopped to consider the cost of him living, him traveling, paying the office girls to track down reward offers etc. But still every show has 'suspension of reality' so I was okay with that. But I think the writers thought they were smarter than they were and ran out of ideas fast.
There could/should have been everything from million dollar stud horse stolen, to art from a private home, to a $300k car and so on. Instead they went down the trope of "star has a deep secret they must uncover, and the people that want to stop it from coming to light".
I'm still watching it but... Now its been religated to 'second string' viewing were we let the entire season stack up while watching the better shows as they come out... then watch the fallback shows in the off season.
