Closest comparison I can think of off the top of my head is Six Feet Under, only instead of the drama taking place around a funeral home, it takes place around a plastic surgery office. Maybe with just a touch of the dark humour of Dexter mixed in. Very different characters on the shows of course, but quite similar in terms of overall quirkiness and their approach to drama and show structure. And they are all well worth watching.

Oh boy - this is really hard. I've seen a lot shows and this one has definitely it's unique kind.
First of all it's not a simple ER clone or something like that. The whole plastic surgent thing is kind of a frame story. It's about relations of the extraordinary kind. It's the biggest character evolving show I'ver ever seen. The acting is superb and the writing is also one of the best.

Season one starts off shallowbrained with much macho appeal, but after a few eps it really gets you. Season two starts fresh but is definitely even better than season one and has finally a thrilling cliffhanger, where season three just picks up the pace.

This show is definitely one of my all time favorites. If you haven't watched it yet - just do it now. But you have to start from the beginning - first season first episode! It starts a bit bloody so you shouldn't be afraid of operation scenes

You will definitely have very much fun!

Please compare this show to some other ones for me.
They're even showing it on my local tv stations, so I guess it's time to get to know it
