Yeah the "previously on BSG" stuff from memory was to catch people up on the main story involved in his episode so it could have been from any episode prior.

I think previously means not just in the last episode but some things overall from previous episodes which are relevant for this current one, so that you get reminded of everything/everyone you will encounter in this episode.

i'm rewatching BSG, but on Peacock. and sometimes the intro shows scenes from the prior episode that were NOT shown. this is only my second time rewatching BSG, so i still don't pick-up everything, but i can't tell if Peacock is showing the full eps or has some editing going on.

there's a specific conversation that they showed on "previously" which i definitely did not see in the last episode.
