I'm aware of this issue and working on it.

(though I've never worked with swift before, so it'll be a long process)

iOS 18 has disabled the old widget system, instead only keeping the ones made with the SwiftUI framework. As of iOS 18 public beta 3, I don’t have a next-episode widget available anymore.

Oh, so this is the "old" widget. I thought we were talking about the new version of widgets that can be displayed on the home screen as well

widgets screen -> edit -> (bottom of the list) customize

It'll show up there.

Doesn't work for me either... Won't show up as if there is no such widget (ios, iPhone 12 pro max)

Try adding it on the widgets screen (one left from your home screen) instead of from your home screen and it'll show up.

The description in the app store mentions a today widget, but nothing shows up on the list of available widgets to add to the Today screen. How can I install the widget?
