Holy Moly, just watched the first episode of this one.

Even if you don't resonate with the story or characters, if you enjoy watching beautiful animation - give this one a try.

Absolutely gorgeous...and that from a studio that so far released only one other anime, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead.

That being said, the story looks also very promising

Since this is from the same author, Hiromu Arakawa, as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - argueably one of the best anime ever - I was looking forward to this one in the spring anime season the most.

First episode was good. Animation looks great.
Typical anime characters, no one jumped out as unique so far.
Story looks interesting, looking forward to where this goes.

Definitely gonna keep watching for now.

I'm not normally an anime fan. One Punch Man is probably my favorite because it parodies a lot of anime. But I'm a fan of DnD, fantasy, magic and the like and this is actually really good. The characters are charming, and the whole thing is both whimsical and very deep. Plus as a fan of elves and the immortality aspect this really nails on the head what it would be like for one after a long DnD campaign ended and the heroes went on their ways.

Anyways, anime most certainly is not normally my thing, but this one definitely wasn't bad at all.

I like it! It's a great show to balance out the intensity of other shows I watch and a good way to just lay back and relax.

Apart from Nick Frost as Hagrid, nobody from the cast featured in the trailer really stood out to me (both in recognition and presence).
Production looked a little bit cheap imho, but hard to tell from a trailer. But most of all the scenes felt shallow, did not feel the depth from the movies.

I honestly think from all the stories they do remakes or reboots, this is the biggest mistake of them all.
Harry Potter is among the movie franchises that is timeless and should stay that way.

So yeah, not sure if I am going to watch it - maybe and episode or two and than switch to re-watching the movies
