For all the Dexter fans
Hey guys,
The first 2 episodes of season 2 have been leaked onto the bittorrent scene for anyone thats interested. Apparently they are real, I'll let you know if anyone is interested in a few hours when its down.
ps. I haven't included a link to the trackers in case thats against the rules (not sure), but a quick search at your favorite site should see you right if you cant wait for me to get back to you.

Re: For all the Dexter fans
I was just about posting the same news. Well I should get up earlier
This is indeed great news, it's the same story like for 24 in January. The guy who upped those 4 eps is now in jail... I hope the Dexter upping guy was more carefully.
What do you guys think - should I open a Dexter forum? If I get more than 5 votes in here than it will spawn in Hot TV Shows

Re: For all the Dexter fans
and no it's not quite the same as the guy who posted the 24 episodes... he was an employee of the network and stole a DVD intended for promo purposes AFTER the episodes had aired, these Dexter [and Brotherhood] episodes were distro'd to journalists recently... Showtime would have half expected them to leak out...

Re: For all the Dexter fans
Well posting liks to torrents or other P2P services seems OK if it's not on a regular basis. But as stated elsewhere this site won't become a torrent delivery system
So I need two more votes for the forum...

Re: For all the Dexter fans
can I put my other hand up?
[and yeah, I wouldn't make a habit of posting 'torrents' [?], but given just how damn exciting this pre-air is, it seemed necessary.]

You wanted it - you got it.
I'm enjoying Dexter aka Michael C. Hall right now in Six Feet Under.
Can't wait for season 2 of Dexter to hit the major studios. The two bootlegged eps are a neat appetizer

Coolio! Thanks for the forum, Blackbox... Those two pre-aired eps are amazing indeed. Can't wait for the rest of them.

I've just started watching it too. I'm absolutely addicted already, but it's such a bizarre show.

Re: For all the Dexter fans
It is such an brilliant show, the only problem I have with it is my own issues of finding a serial killer so likable.....
I loved it so much I went and read the books, gotta say the show is SOOOO much better.

Re: For all the Dexter fans
wow - nice to see so many new fans
True - it's tricky to find yourself on the side of a serial-killer and like it. But that's the interesting psychic part of the show

Re: For all the Dexter fans
The best series last year. Downloading the 2 pre-aired eps right now.
Black Box- That's the thing. I wouldn't call dexter a serial killer per se. He's more of an equaliser. Set's the score straight so to speak. In my mind, he's not bad at all. I feel the interesting part for the audience is to distinguish whether or not Dex is a "bad guy" or "good guy" and accordingly decide if they are on his side.
It's all interpretive. Had he let the people he killed live, more innocents would die, so killing them is actually the mature thing to do. The mind has been trained to be detached from "crimes" so cops can take the credit where undue. Dexter for President

Re: For all the Dexter fans

According to Wikipedia:
A serial killer is a person who kills three or more people in three or more separate events over a period of time including an "emotional cooling-off" period in between the homicides.
Dexter is definitely fitting that profile
Despite the majority feel's with Dexter and says it's OK to kill 'bad guys' it's a serious crime and it creates a critical law situation (Wikipedia again): A vigilante is a person or persons who ignore due process of law after a crime has been committed, instead enacting their own form of justice when they deem the response of the authorities to be insufficient. [...] Vigilantism is generally denounced by official agencies, especially when it gives way to criminal behavior on the part of the vigilante, even if such illegal actions save lives.
And I don't comment the current president or if he fits any profile

Re: For all the Dexter fans
I'm so sick of waiting for season 2 of Dexter...september 30. I just picked up the soundtrack which came out this week. I was not disappointed. It has the theme song, main theme, and then a remix of it by kinky. The bonus track was actually awesome too. Plus on the score there are some voiceovers by Michael C. Hall. Right now it's the only thing getting me through until Dexter comes back on the air.

Dexter is definitely fitting that profile
yea but ... do we really need to define everything by numbers? I say nay. What if someone were to plan 5 murders, but only manages to actually kill 2 and gets caught? Is he not a serial killer? Doesnt he kinda qualifies by default on some level? I say yay.

its just my humble opinion, but I personally dont equal justice with law and reserve the right to value and evaluate only for myself. I guess what Im trying to say is ... the ruling on the field stands - Dexter: one of the good guys.

true. what was very interesting was seeing Dex through Doakes' eyes at the cabin in ep 10... as i was watching i could feel my internal validation of dex's actions slowly slipping
