Re: Adblock message
I've disabled adblock for the site for the time being. I plan to just go the whole hog and do the lifetime membership but the Aussie dollar has tanked just recently so I'm waiting for a more favourable exchange rate to do it.

Re: Adblock messageI have the site whitelisted but i still get the message about adblock. Re: Adblock messageYeah, the site seems to be looking for if the plugin is enabled or not, not if its allowing adverts... for now I have it disabled for Next Episode... However, if the ads keep rapidly flashing yellow and white at me (an actual advert I've seen nine times now) I'll endure the message and go premium when I can... Re: Adblock messagefredmxm354 wrote:
Dont you know u can block individual ads even if u have adblock off? il do it all the time if its an annoying one Re: Adblock messagemalajen wrote:
Or you can simply report those ads to google and flag them so you don't see them anymore ... Re: Adblock message@rain, @fredmxm354 Are you seeing both ads AND the message about adblock when you whitelist the site? Can I see a screenshot of that? One with the adblock popup and one with the ad below it - right after you close the popup? Also, which browser / adblock extension version do you guys have so I can test this locally ... Re: Adblock messageI leave next-episode open on my first tab always. Too lazy to click on bookmark every time My browser is set to continue from last time. So when I open browser first thing is I connect to next-episode. If I have left the page scrolled down when the page loads I can not scroll back up. The adblock message does not move with scroll so it is out of the screen and blocking the mouse wheel to scroll up. It is not really important but you might want to know about it Re: Adblock messageYea, I noticed this happens if the page is scrolled before it pops up, and I can fix this relatively easy, but I feel conflicted about fixing a bug for the AdBlock users, and that's why I haven't done anything about it yet. Will probably fix it eventually though Re: Adblock messageAdblock is shait, use ublock instead! They Call Me The "Jax Lovah!" Machine!

Agreed, but in this conversation the generic term "Adblock" is used rather than a specific product. DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".

Adblock Plus is easier to use for me...it just works out of the box, seemed to be too much dicking around with this Ublock. Re: Adblock messageWizard wrote:
My mistake if you were refering to random adblockers then, and yes I should have said uBlock Origin instead They Call Me The "Jax Lovah!" Machine!

Re: Adblock messageCurrently, the adblock popup only shows once per session, that's why you're seeing this latitude75. This may change though ... Re: Adblock messagexrnzaaas wrote:

Re: Adblock messageyeah right after i stopped paying it showed me this message.... telling me im a jerk ..... im okay with turning on the white-list as i did but the popup is a bit rude if you ask me and those banners are like in the middle of the website maybe you could give them a better place pretty please Cheers Re: Adblock messageHuh. I only get the orange banner on the homepage and it's pretty unobtrusive being only an inch high at the top of the page. Not a problem. Re: Adblock messageI concur, not a problem! Re: Adblock messageJut had to reinstate Adblocker. I would rather see the message asking me not to use it than adverts from that f****** scumbag scammer Ty Bollinger about his "cancer truth". There is someone "worth doing time for" Re: Adblock messageOr, you can report the specific Ad from the very adsense banner and tell it not to show ever again ...
