Topic: Grimm
Grimm
“Grimm” is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Remember the fairy tales your parents used to tell you before bedtime? Those weren’t stories — they were warnings. Nick Burkhardt (David Guintoli “Turn The Beat Around”) thought he prepared himself for the realities of working as a homicide detective until he started seeing things he couldn’t quite explain. When his ailing Aunt Marie (guest star Kate Burton, “Grey’s Anatomy”) arrives, Nick’s life turns upside down when she reveals they are descendants of an elite group of hunters, also known as “Grimms,” who fight to keep the balance of humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. As Nick digs deeper into her past, he realizes that he will have to shoulder the responsibility of his ancestors Coming this fall to NBC Trailer Looks pretty good but I doubt it will survive on a Friday night.

Re: Grimm
Looks interesting, I just wish the pilots would go online already, I remember 5years ago when TBBT, Chuck, Pushing Dasies and all the other shows starting up, leaked online months before their September air dates, it's mainly what got me to watch those shows. Summer is a dead zone for new shows compared to the fall and I usually don't watch new ones because not having time or interest. Interesting 2 new Fairy Tail shows this one and Once Upon a Time

Re: Grimm
Just finished the pilot So far seems like a knockoff of Supernatural, then again everything is a knockoff of something these days. Could be a great show depending on where the story goes from here, first episode was more of a "meh..." though.

Re: Grimm
I think I'm gonna enjoy this one. I hope they will get into the mythology.

Re: Grimm
Will they have time to get into the mythology, I wonder. Because Friday night and not-comedy on NBC means instant death. Let's wait for the ratings and we're gonna get an idea of how many eps will survive.

Re: Grimm
yeah i agree... putting this show on at friday on it's first season... come on give it a chance ;; i do like the main guy and the story, but another buddy cop thing? Don't we already have too many? I wonder if this show was just slapped together to rival that other fairy tale tv show, Once Upon a Time.

Re: Grimm
Well, the show did very good in the ratings department (one would even say that spectacular according to current NBC standards) so there's a chance it won't die quickly. I'm watching the pilot later today.

Re: Grimm
The series premiere of Grimm surprised to the upside, notching a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating
Wow , Pretty good. If next week stays above 2.0 then it could survive.

Re: Grimm
In my opinion it'll drop by at least 0.3-0.4, because (almost) every new show loses a lot at the beginning. But as long it stays in the top2 in its hour NBC should be very happy. Edit: Seen it, liked it. And Silas Mitchell aka Haywire is perfect for these kind of roles.

I'm glad you are enjoying it but its just a little boring for me. I've seen similar things done way better (supernatural). I can always come back to it if it gets reports of getting awesome but I just have too many shows to watch as it is and this is by far the weakest.

i see, you dropped the show. i was afraid, that the studio decided to drop the show. uff .... now i'm relieved. you drop any show you want sweetie .... it's totally fine by me. lol i absolutely love supernatural. i mean last ep was priceless. dean was hilarious. and i think grimm might go in the same direction. and the actor is completely adorable too. so ......

Love him, having a bit of trouble with the main character and his partner, but the idea is pretty cool, and some of the scenes are brilliant. It's ok entertainment, keeping it for a few episodes more at least.

Re: Grimm
I'm going with it, but not really impressed. Seems to be an awful lot of shows recently that go about "there is another world within our worldand a few chosen can see it".
