Actually, I just rewatched it and I think its just the Atom that looks bad....rest of it is fine for a TV show. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016I'm so happy Caity Lotz is back. I dont think we have.... Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016they integrated flash and arrow so well together, i can see this new show working. I just like it when there is a major threat, another superhero comes to help...seems logical its hard to write but makes just so much more sense. So crossover episodes are for me a fantastic thing. Its like if True blood had 3-4 separate series with many crossovers in between. 1 Fairy 2 Bill and Erics Excellent Vampire adventures 3 [Name of the diner] Characters will be much better developed and storylines will come to a more satisfying conclusion. And season finales would be the same but from different point of views. I think this may be the future of television. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016proteinnerd wrote:
The legitimacy of the show was never the question, that much was obvious, it's some of the scenes in the trailer that were taken from previous episodes of Arrow and The Flash that were as clear as day to those who follow both series. They did however piece it all together quite well imo. I don't want to hand out any spoilers but fans of Arrow knows what the footage around the 1:13 mark in the trailer means. The reason behind it pretty much set the stage for all of this past season of Arrow. And who knows, events to follow may also set the stage for season 4...? ▼Spoiler Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016Didn't expect much from this, and to be fair it has delivered "not much" in spades. It is cheap and shoddy with terrible dialogue and hackneyed storylines. It also annoys the shit out of me that they cant even be bothered to do basic checks for anachronisms on a show about time-travel. Episode 2 the crew arrive in USA 1975 and the show uses a song that was released in December 1976, didnt begin to chart until 77 and became a hit in 78. FAIL! 10 2016-02-21 16:19:25 (edited by Selket 2016-02-21 16:20:35)Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016DISSAPOINTED. ▼Spoiler all in all the only chance of me giving it another shot would be to A get rid of the villain and the teamleader...but then again...argh...its not enough. This whole show was build on a very shaky foundation to begin with, hope they Can it and start over with some different actors (R.I.P RIP)and new writers. What a fail. So much wasted potential. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016It is that terrible I would be surprised if it even runs to the end of its first season. It makes Arrow and the Flash look like slick & sophisticated entertainment Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016I gave it another chance, but found myelf skipping through maybe 30% of the episode (ep6) i usually start to do this when i lost interest in a series. Even the ▼Spoiler couldnt really save it. The writing just seems to not take its viewers serious. Pretty sure i let the season continue without me for now. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016Selket wrote:
It is car-crash TV. You know you shouldn't look, but you just cant help it. The awfulness is just so complete that you wonder why the actors bother. It is so poor, I can see careers being destroyed just by their involvement..... Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016How did this get a second season???? I figured out how to stop the bad guy 8 minutes into episode 1??!?!!?!??! 15 2016-10-16 19:47:59 (edited by CarmarthenLad 2016-10-18 12:50:54)Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016A second season? That's hilarious. The show is so bad that it makes Arrow and The Flash look like European art house movies in comparison. Maybe that's the idea....... Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016So glad I wasn't the only one to wonder why this train wreck returned. 17 2016-10-28 19:25:38 (edited by LuC 2016-10-28 19:26:19)Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016That's funny because I got tired of and stopped watching Arrow but so far I have kept up with and am entertained well enough by Legends of Tomorrow. It's not great-great, but it's not bad either. i enjoy the characters and I'm even interested in the new addition. I'm so glad that: ▼Spoiler Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016This show is mediocre, but nothing comes close to the horror show that Arrow has become lol. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016Momo27 wrote:
Yeah I'm a few episodes behind on arrow already and no real desire to watch it atm. I find with LoT, the editing is weird. A lot of the scenes cut really quickly, almost like they are trying to squeeze a full 60 mins into 45 mins. It makes it feel cheaper and more hokey imo. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016Firestorm is a real moron. I'm so disapointed... Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016matteraf wrote:
Firestorm is two people, so which one do you mean? Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016I really really tried watching it but what actually killed it was my 12 year old daughter (big marvel, sci-fi fan) saying to me after watching it for 1 minute "Dad why are you doing this to yourself; This is worse than Flash and Arrow together". After that I followed the 12 year old wisdom and stopped watching it. Still watching arrow and flash though so I'm not cured completely yet. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016I once liked Arrow but now i have to force myself to watch it and dropped it recently. Re: Legends of Tomorrow 2016babylon5gr wrote:
The DC comics based adaptations are rubbish when you compare them to their Marvel based counterparts, designed to fill continuing family entertainment slots rather than as adult drama series like the Netflix adaptationsof Marvel characters. I will watch the DC kiddy friendly shows, but they are only "filler" in my TV schedule! Posts: 1 to 25 of 27Forums - Next Episode → TV Show Discussions → Legends of Tomorrow 2016 |
