Re: 12 Monkeys
This show has earned itself a bump - the chemistry between the actors has come together very nicely, and the scriptwriters are starting to relax more and more into the show and are making some very funny dialogue moments. Basically it's started taking itself less seriously - and that is working beautifully. My recommendation if you haven't watched this show, or had dropped it at some point, just make your way through the first season, and by season two episode five you'll find this series has begun to do great things. I truly hope this show gets renewed for quite some time to come, it's really working now and totally worthy of your down time.

Re: 12 Monkeys
Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten about this show. I found season 1 quite patchy but enjoyed it overall.

Re: 12 Monkeys
Wow, you guys got me anxious to start this now!! Honestly speaking I enjoyed the first season and saw great potential moving forward. I have most of my shows queued to be watched because I like to wait til a show reaches near it's seasonal completion before starting the binge. I'm currently ripping thru all the DC/Marvel stuff but as soon as that's done 12 Monkeys is next on the plate ready to be served.

Re: 12 Monkeys
Its true second season is amazing way better than first. Its also nice that plot still holds and leaves no gaps like most scifi series.

Re: 12 Monkeys
The best part of that is there will probably be another innovative and consistent season if the writing crew remains intact.

Finally got around to it and I must say that this season did not disappoint. As a matter of fact this second season was so good that I'm actually contemplating whether or not to watch it again so soon after my first run through. That's how good it was. There will be hell to pay if this series doesn't go the distance because it's destined for greatness as long as the current writing crew, and cast, remains intact. I can't wait for season three to get here!

Re: 12 Monkeys
I watched season one and season two of 12 Monkeys and as the progressed they became too disjointed and boring, but I soldiered on. I just watched the new Season3 episode one of 12 Monkeys and found it so ridiculous and stupid that I stopped watching it. I could not believe that it could get any worse but I was wrong. 12 Monkeys should have been cancelled after season 2 and I am flabbergasted that other shows were cancelled and this crap was renewed.

Season 1 was just a little more than an average show, but too good for me to stop watching. I'm glad I didn't. Season 2 was really good, extremely entertaining. Just watched the last episode of S3, and I think my high expectations were fullfilled. The season started somewhat slow, with a couple of questionable new "gadgets" like the time travel suit. It was a little embarassing But when the season escalated, I forgot about the suit and just enjoyed the unique story with a lot of twists and action. The latest 4-5 episodes just blew by, I couldn't stop watching. When looking at the rating at IMDB for the latest episodes, I see that I'm not the only one thinking that... (ep 10 - 9.7 of 10)

Re: 12 Monkeys
yeah i really enjoyed season 3. It had some very good twists and some real shock episodes. I'm glad they know season 4 is the last, I think they will end it well. Hopefully anyway.

Re: 12 Monkeys
Being a huge fan of the original movie I wasn't impressed when I watched the first episode of this series. However I started to enjoy it and for the last two seasons have watched each new episode on the day it became available (and there aren't many shows that I do that with). I give it an 8 out of 10, maybe even a 9. The acting is great and the characters are so relatable that I was prepared to overlook the few plot holes and enjoyed each episode.

Re: 12 Monkeys
Looks like we're going to get a decent finale. This has become a welcome new thing with TV series and now viewers expect it and showrunners know it and strive to do it right.

Good idea about re-watching. I wish I had thought of it prior to this series starting. As much as I enjoy this one, I feel lost about half the time. I know it's just that I can't remember to details. 12 Monkeys is most definitely a smart show. I like the way they write it with an intelligent audience as their target. I just wish I could remember!

Yeah I was glad I did rewatch. If you watch 3x01 it does fill in some gaps. The ending anyway. But there are hints all through the series for the big 4x09 twist.

Re: 12 Monkeys
Last season wasn't so good in my opinion left me a bit bitter. But this one is much much better. Finally the full story is revealed and pretty solid one especially considering how complicated those timelines are. The twist was unexpected but there were multiple hints I missed before. Curious about the finale now

Yeah one hint was so good. I only noticed when watching it all again. ▼Spoiler "you little shit" is said by all of the parents in the family to their kid. And Jones says it to Cole too.

Re: 12 Monkeys
Omg I have watched this show at least 5x and I have only ever watched a show more than once a couple of times. It is the best time travel show where it does pay attention to what they did in the past and future. Love the characters and as I am scrolling through time travel shows I seen this and I really want to watch it again but in a watch party. Anyway if you like post apocalyptic with time travel, this is it.
