Topic: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
I need some time alone... this episode was INTENSE. And the theme was yet another great idea this show has introduced over its course. PS. ▼Spoiler Have you noticed how they gave Shaw their version of 24's silent clock? Gonna miss her by the way.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
It's definitely one for the ages that's for sure. The only certainty about this episode is that there will be one in the future that will top it! That seems to have been a consistent theme since the series started four years ago, which is one of many reasons why it's currently my # 1 show on television. I use to compare POI to 24 when it first started but by the 3rd season this show pretty much cemented itself in it's own unique category. Can't wait for next week!

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
▼Spoiler "cooly delivered sadistic warning" "self-deprecating inquiry into time necessary to infiltrate system" "funny, yet insightful retort" "mildly agitated declaration of mission completion" "gentle exhortation to further action" "overly affectionate greeting" "greeting" "transparent rationale for conversation" "annoyed attempt to deflect subtext" "overt come-on" "mildly embarrassed defensiveness bordering on hostility" "playfully witty signoff" I couldn't stop grininng at that part.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
Yeah, I'd like to see a blooper reel of that, because there's no way they did all those scenes without braking character.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
You know, sometimes I envy people who were able to watch iconic tv episodes like "Body" or "Once More With Feeling" of Buffy, or the series finale of Six Feet Under. I think we are witnessing the same thing with PoI. Some years from now, someone will message you "omg just watched 4x11 it was amazing" and you can say "yup, watched it when it was on". I know I sound like a fanboy, but at this point we can safely say that the show IS a classic in the making.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
Person Of Interest garnered a 1.7, up 31 percent from a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating for its most recent original episode.
Hopefully it'll get a fifth season.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
I think it's got a very good shot at renewal. It wasn't even sentenced to Sundays yet like The Mentalist and even CBS must care in some way about how positive the show is received and how loyal audience it has gathered.

They showed with The Good Wife (which is also excellent) that they are able to sustain a critically acclaimed show.

I'm not really into lawyer shows, but if I like Suits will I like The Good Wife?

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
TGW is miles ahead of Suits, so I'm not sure if we enjoy the same things in a lawyer show. Give it a try.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
Most excellent ep. But it's the second excellent female lead they have killed off. They using Joss Whedon as a script consultant?

▼Spoiler [...]so I felt like that kiss was just like, “Oh, shut the f–k up already, Root!” I felt like it was more trying to calm down a pestering child, if anything. “Okay, fine, I’ll give you what you want, now be quiet.” Just one of those moments. Felt the same way.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
I once convinced my uncle to start watching this show, but after watching the first episode he gave up saying 'I don't like his voice' I have since teased him about how he's missed out on a great show for a silly little reason. But after this episode I actually feel sorry for him not having the pleasure of seeing it.

Re: 4x11 *SPOILERS*
There was something about this ep that was familiar and that was the clever use of ordinary story elements. So I went to find out who wrote it. It was Denise The and I went looking for what else she has done. Turned out she was in her 20s (2008) when she got her first job as staff writer on Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. She was involved in some of the more innovative episodes during the short run of that show.
