Topic: Unforgettable
Unforgettable
Carrie Wells is an enigmatic former police detective with a rare condition that makes her memory so flawless that every place, every conversation, every moment of joy and every heartbreak is forever embedded in her mind. It's not just that she doesn't forget anything ¿ she can't; except for one thing: the details that would help solve her sister's long-ago murder. Looking forward to this

Just another, boring procedural show.

Re: Unforgettable
I found it to be pretty good, but I've not had too much of "boring procedural shows" to watch in the past. Never watched the NCIS, CSI, Bones or other likewise shows, but this seems to be a good one to watch.

That's probably why. If you really want a good proc. show, check out The Mentalist, Blue Bloods or Rizzoli & Isles, those are the best procedural shows that don't have a lot of seasons and are great to watch.

Re: Unforgettable
I would consider Luther a psychological thriller, instead of a procedural show. We already know who the bad guy is from the beginning, and that's not the point of proc. show. Luther focuses on the psyche of the murderer, WHY he is doing the thing he is doing.

It took me 9 months to watch Buffy/Angel and I'm watching the first series of Doctor Who (which I really like) for over a month. So, no.

Re: Unforgettable
I got really bored towards the end of the show that I skipped to the end before back tracking slowly just so I could finish the episode...I was really tired at the time so might give it 1 more episode.

Re: Unforgettable
I wanted to like it b/c I think the premise is interesting but the 1st ep was sooo slowly paced that it got boring, if it picks up it could be good

I dropped it, second episode already felt like a grind, I couldn't bring myself to keep my attention on it.

Re: Unforgettable
I dropped it too. What really annoyed me was the constant slow-mo of her looking at herself and the surroundings.
DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom". http://xkcd.com/488/

That's what is bad with the whole premise. "Look at me, staring at a wall for 3 minutes". No.

Re: Unforgettable
Also dropped it, the first episode was alright because she was actually at the crime scene so her memory can really help the investigation. But I just don't think it really adds to anything in the crime of the week. It's just too bad that her past is kinda boring, just some unsolved crime and not something interesting like in other shows for example John Doe. Now that i think about this show would probably be a lot better if we saw her as a rookie cop 9 years ago. I also think it's kinda weird how they do the memory scenes, with her seeing her self in her own memory and not seeing it from a first person perspective.

Re: Unforgettable
yes, her seeing hereself is weird, couldn't they have used some other effects to indicate "this is a memory". I havent watched full second episode yet, I will tonight probably. I didn't have the patience for it yeterday,,, perhaps that might be my cue to drop it. We'll see

Re: Unforgettable
Her seeing herself just reminds me of The Dead Zone, and how good that was in it's prime. With so many dropping it don't think I will tune in for the 2nd episode was so bored in the first episode to begin with.
