Re: Alcatraz
It reminds me a lot of Fringe meets The 4400, 4400 for the premise and Fringe just because that trailer looks a lot like the trailer when Fringe was premiering.
Re: Alcatraz
Hmm watched the first 2 episodes (in the wrong order accidentally
)
Plus:
Mysterious
No family drama (it is FOX so I was expecting some)
No nauseating characters
Minus:
Reminds me too much of cop shows, I do not like cop shows.
It is on FOX
Fears:
I got a feeling that we will have very slow plot development.
I bet most of the season will be "inmate of the week".
Overall It is on my watchlist. Will drop it if it gets boring.

Re: Alcatraz
Yeah it was ok.... guess I'll give it a few more episodes and see how it goes. I really hope it doesn't turn into prisoner of the week, though I think it probably will ![]()
Re: Alcatraz
Only watched the pilot so far (was too late to start the second episode.
It didn't really blew my mind. It's ok but the ending of the pilot kind of turned me off in a big way in terms of "too much in the retard level" with a lack in credibility with the Neil character.
Will stick around for a bit but it's not set in stone.

Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed.
Re: Alcatraz
This is Fringe in every way...except Fringe is good this was slow paced and kind of boring. I rather 1 more episode of Fringe than a season of this. Didn't watch the 2nd episode maybe its paced increase...I just in no rush to find out.
Re: Alcatraz
Yep, it was OK... I guess.
Just one thing. If they know the prisoners will return eventualy, why the hell nobody wait until their return at Alcatraz? Why not simply put a couple of agents there and wait?
Re: Alcatraz
I've finally had some time to watch both episodes and I liked them. The main duo is likeable and Emerson is mysterious enough. And I wouldn't say that the show is heavy on procedural stuff... it's actually quite "easy" to watch. I'm curious how the main storyline develops. The first "shocker" wasn't too shocky.. I figured out that

LOL Genius....but that would make for a very short and boring series ![]()

Dear Sir, may I join your club? 5 episodes in and the only thing different is that now they chased a guard. It's just way too formulaic. How many disappeared people were there? 300? That makes quite many boring seasons...
They mention in every single episodes so far that there is 63 missing ppl. Have u even seen the episodes? becuse even in the intro they mention it.
