Not delete them from what listing? The Unwatched listing?

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Suggestion:  On the movies page, have a line divider in the table separating the past and future release dates.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Makes sense, but can only appear certain situations (when "all statuses" is selected and the movies are sorted by release date).

I have to figure out how to integrate a divider in such a way that it's clear what it means and is minimalistic and unobtrusive.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Maybe just a thicker line on the table cells between the dates, and maybe just for the date column.?  Nothing too fancy  smile

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Is it possible to change the way the Search Engine feature handles spaces?
My main Media Site can not handle "%20" as an word divider. For that Site it has to be "+".
Can we get an textfield in each Search Engine to put the divider variable in manually?

Makes sense and changed all %20 in the search engines to a +

Seems to be working fine with all my test URLs, if anyone has issues with this - let me know!

I've found a few sites where a "+" causes a problem.
They use proper Boolean search expressions, and a "+" doesn't mean a space, it means Must Include.
So a multiple-word show title and episode number results in one phrase that never yields a result. IE: Show Name and episode s01e23 becomes "Show+Name+s01e23" which is considered by their site as one word.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Are you using those sites and this is causing an issue for you?

Yes, and yes (though minor) I just manually change the + to a space and hit re-load the webpage.
It's a minor hassle. but I doubt it could be fixed unless each Search Expression included it's own formatting.

Like if --
What was entered in the URL field has spaces unchanged, BUT
what was entered in the Params: wasn't touched, and had to be what the individual site preferred. So if the URL desired, had ASCII codes or Hex, instead of + and -, they could be done there.
(Maybe even have the help section on that page list the common codes for spaces, plus, minus, quote)

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

How about now?

(I removed the url encoding, leaving spaces as spaces instead of %20 or +)

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Ok, added an additional option to replace the %20 with a + (per search engine).

Let me know!

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Hey santah,

Is it possible to request some additional services to be selectable for the watchlist (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 etc) for UK watchers?

A useful feature would be the ability (both app and website side) would be to filter on service so Netflix for example.  I can tag shows when they get added to the service and then I just display what's on my watchlist and is available to watch.

Thanks

Katy

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

And by watchlist you mean this: http://next-episode.net/track ?

Yeah sorry still in the old world smile

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

I just upgraded to your premium version. Is there any way to look at my watchlist from the past? It would be useful to be able to see what I have missed if I am away from home.

Simply use this:

http://next-episode.net/track

All aired episodes from your watchlist are piled up there. Mark off what you've seen and only the new stuff will show up in there.

Or this:

https://next-episode.net/calendar/

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Calendar is perfect. Thanks Santah!

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

I also want to put in my request for shows going on a break or hiatus to change color or something and then again when they are coming back on your watch list. Thanks.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Hi, i have some suggestions for the movies section:

- a setting for automatically unchecking acquired status after marking a movie as watched; useful for people that delete files right after watching
- time spent like at episodes section (could be just episodes, just movies, both together); it's always fun to see how much life you've wasted and brag about it
- a setting to move all articles (the/a/an) to the end of title, for example "Hunger Games, The" instead of "The Hunger Games", or just ignoring them when sorting movies by name (something like Steam does - http://i.imgur.com/JOJ4cci.png; this would declutter lists where 3/4 movies sit near end because they start with "the"
- live search (like the one for tv shows on top left) with a possibility for adding stuff to watchlist directly from there (a mspaint mockup of what i mean - http://i.imgur.com/YRaG1jG.png); if the desired movie isn't on live-list, one could still perform a normal search. This would make adding large batches a lot faster...it was pain transfering all ~500 movies from my imdb lists one-by-one.

Those are just suggestions, not requests..."it would be nice to have" stuff, nothing mandatory.

Re: Features/Improvements Requests

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep those in mind!

Cheers
