Topic: Teyla haters club

Well it was proposed to make a club of Teyla haters. So let's clear what really is wrong with her.

First thing, every sci fi movie needs a babe and she doesn't cut it as one. She is not exactly ugly but I'd prefer Jewel Staite for the position but she gets too little screen time. Teyla should've been left home with the baby.

She really is a weird mix of male and female. I mean she is sometimes kicking all kinds of ass and next she is weeping about her people or something like that.

Ok, it's late and I've run out of ideas for the time being. But people need something to rant about and this is as good a subject as anything big_smile

also, she is way too high and mighty! she thinks shes all that, never listens to anyone, and is always in the wrong, oh wait, thats every woman!!

Don't hate the character, hate the writers... Stargate Atlantis' writers really suck; they just use every trick and old story in the book to produce episodes...

Ohhh man I have been waiting for this day for alooong time.
I have hated Teyla since almost the day I first saw the show... I hate that hippie-esque way she talks with when she rolls her eyes to the side in that almost condescending tone.. arghhh she is terrible.

They shoulda killed her off and left Weir... or hell lets trade her in for Carson, I' much rather he be in the eps.

She should be at home taking of her baby and not of jaunting through the galaxies ruingin Sg Atlantis eps.

comon. i can't recall her weeping about her people for some seasons now. because as i recall there is now more of her people.

-Linda Ko - Nurse
-Heather Doerksen - Bridge Pilot
-Claire Rankin - Dr. Kate Heightmeyer
-Erin Chambers - Sora (I likes redheads big_smile)
-Jaime Ray Newman - Lt. Laura Cadman
-Leela Savasta - Captain Alicia Vega

They all have been in Atlantis, hopefully someone will return and take Teylas place in the team.

In a completelly another matter Woolsey characters actor is Robert Picardo, what a coincidence. The character looks like him, has a similar 'job' like him but isn't him...Jean-Luc... weird huh?

Do you remember why she got captured as a pregnant woman in the first place? Because she was looking for her people. And she was doing all the moaning that came with it as well. And also the thing where she wants here people to be let inside Atlantis and crap.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves but saying that I would not be broken hearted if at some point Teyla was replaced by Larrin (Jill Wagner) because there's definite chemistry between her and Sheppard and she's soooo hot.

I assumed that I was the only one to rant, rave and than turn off the tv when she would give one or those vapid one liners that are supposed to make her look smart just turn out to fall flat.  She seems surprised whenever she says something that doesn't get her shot.  Her character stopped making sense the minute she joined the team.

I'd kill her.... I don't think I could stand her talking about her people and Torin and the baby on and on and on and on and on and on and on like she does... besides I don't think that she-hulk is that attractive.
